The BC Rehab Gert Vorsteher Educational Bursary for students with disabilities was created by British Columbia Rehabilitation Foundation (“BC Rehab”) in 2014 to award two educational grants of $5,000 each to British Columbians with a physical disability who intend to pursue post-secondary education that will lead to employment and greater personal independence.
Individuals with a spinal cord injury who are pursing a post-secondary education are encouraged to apply first to the SCI BC GRAGOPEAN Scholarship Trust:

The GRAGOPEAN SCHOLARSHIP TRUST awards are available to students who have a spinal cord injury* and who are or who intend to pursue a course of studies or career training at a recognized university, college or training centre in British Columbia.
Preference will be given to individuals born in the Province of British Columbia and who are between the ages of 18 and 25 years at the time of application. Preference will also be given to students applying for a renewal of their funding.
